Stay Wild Moonchild (a mini bio)

First, let me start by saying I do NOT like writing bio’s. It’s just awkward. But, if you’re here- thank you! And if you want to learn a little more about your candle maker, you might consider reading.

Jenny is a Colorado Springs native, and the owner of Moonchild Candle Company. Jenny specializes in art and science of making high-quality, non-toxic, essential oil-infused, soy wax candles. After learning about all the toxins found in most commercially produced candles, she started on a her journey to make a better, certified clean burning candle.

Jenny has spent a majority of the last 20 years serving the local Colorado Springs school districts, in various leadership roles.  Jenny also owns a Special Education Consulting, Contracting & Advocacy business, Bright Partnerships Colorado. As an avid self-care junkie, Jenny believes that candles are an essential part of a self-care practice.   

An introverted home body, Jenny hand pours her candles in the comfort of her home candle studio…as she tries to balance all the things life has to offer. Jenny is a Mom to her16 year old daughter, dog Mom to her 2 labs, and plant Mom to 50+ plants! In her free time, Jenny hikes with her dogs & explores on her paddle board, camping, fishing, playing golf, and always cheering on the Denver Broncos!
